Inspired by the words of Boris Vian: 'The story is entirely true since I imagined it from beginning to end.' This project reinvents reading by offering a fragmented and immersive experience where photography, graphic design, and editorial design blend together. Each booklet becomes a sensory object, where delicate typography interacts with evocative images, giving a new dimension to the text. Conceived as a work at the intersection of art and literature, L’Écume des jours transforms into a visual and poetic exploration, inviting the reader to rediscover the narrative from a fresh perspective. Each booklet offers a fragmented and immersive reading experience, blending photography, graphic design, and editorial design. Delicate typography interacts with evocative images, transforming the text into a visual and poetic experience.
Result & impact
This project offers a unique reading experience, enhancing the work through an editorial object that is both artistic and sensory. Designed for total immersion, it allows readers to fully engage with the story 'from beginning to end', by exploring each page, each plate, and each booklet as distinct visual and narrative pieces. It's a vibrant tribute to Boris Vian, where reading transforms into an experience that is both personal and shared, blending poetry, visuals, and design.
